Bryant Park Tree Lighting Skate-tacular 2017

Holiday kick-off festivities roll on this Friday with the annual Bryant Park Tree Lighting. As all New Yorker’s know, the Bryant Park winter village and ice skating rink is a wonderful place to visit this time of the year and tomorrow’s skate-tacular is no different!

Events

This year the organizers will be lighting the tree in style with ice skating performances and much more starting at 6pm. The festivities will feature an ice-skating show starring World Champions and Olympian skaters Kimmie Meissner, Meryl Davis and Charlie White as well as Jeff Buttle. The legendary Johnny Weir will also hit the 17,000-square-foot rink. The evening will be hosted by Tony Award winning and Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated actress, Jane Krakowski. And after the festivities conclude with free ice skating for all!

If you’re looking for parking in the area, Icon and Quik Park have you covered! Please click here to see our facilities located around the tree lighting area. To guarantee your spot through the busy event remember to reserve and book ahead. And for extra savings, take advantage of our limited time holiday promo code to receive $10 off your next reservation!

We recommend arriving early to peruse all of the holiday shops and treats available from food vendors before the festivities kick off at 6pm. Can’t make it? Luckily the Bryant Park Winter Village will continue on throughout January and the ice skating rink even later, so be sure not to miss it! For more information and updates throughout the season, visit our friends over at the Bryant Park Corporation.
